March Court 1715 125 to enquire by whom soever or howsoever in our County afd done or Commt.d or which may hereafter happen to be done or attempted and also of — all those who in our County afd in riotous manner have gone or rode or Shall hereafter presume to go or ride with armed force agst. our — peace to ye Disturbance of our people and of all Such who in our Coty afd have laine or Shall hereafter presume to Lye in waite to ma[ime] or kill any of our Said People and also of all Ordinary keepers and Such other persons who have offended or attempted to offend or Shall here :after presume to offend or attempt to offend in the abuse of weights and measures or in Selling of any Liquors and also of the Sherfs — Bailiffs Constables & other officers who have or Shall hereafter misbe :have themselves in the Execution of their offices or have been fearfull remises or negligent in the Execution thereof or Shall hereafter happen so to be within our County afd and of all and every the articles matters and things whatsoever howsoever or by whom Soever in our County afd Done or Committed or that Shall hereafter happen to be done or attempted Concerning the premises or any of them and to Inspect~ all Indictments so before yo. or any of yo. taken or to be taken or before any late Justices of the peace within our Said County had and taken & not yet determined and process thereon ag.st all or any person or persons so Indicted or which Shall hereafter happen to be indicted — within our County afd to make and Continue untill they Shall be — taken Surrender themselves or to be out lawed and to hear and deter: :mine all & every the felonies Witchcrafts Enchantments Sorceries - Arts magick Trespasses forestallings regratings engrossings Riotts Endict :ments & all other ye matters afd according to the afd Laws of great Britt: :tain and this our Province had and used or to be had and used and the Said Delinquents or every of them to Chastize & punish by fines ransoms Amerciaments forfeitures & otherwise according to the Said Laws & Customs of our Said Province and the form of the Statutes and Acts of Assembly - thereof had and used or to be had and used But we will not that you proceed in any the Cases afd to take life or member but that in every Such Case yo. Send the prisoner with their Indictments & ye whole matter depend ing before yo. to our Justices of our next Provinciall Court to be held for this our |
