   pounds Sterlg at the least And there being Some persons on the
   Same pole that the Same Sherf did not know there worth prayd —
   that they would Conform to the Act & writ afd by taking there Oaths .
   that they Possessed besides there Land Fforty pounds Sterlg in the Coty.
   in Genrall every body that was desired denied Except Thomas Guinn
   who took his Oath that he did Possess Fforty pounds Sterlg in goods &
   Chattells &ca. on Exaqmining the pole for M.r James Harris the . .
   Sherf made the Same offer as afd to Severall as was on the Pole
   and the poles afd being Compared together there was Seventeen —
   Electors more for M.r James Harris then was for M.r William Blay —
   which the Sherf gave notice and desired that if there was any more
   for M.r William Blay that they would come in but no more appearing
   the Sherf. gives out that M.r James Harris was Elected and Indentures
   was Signed by the Said Sherf and Electors for the Said Mr James Harris.
   on which the Sherf adjourned the Court till Tomorrow morning

   open the Court which was according done and desired the Electors
   to proceed to there Election on which was brought in Mr Thomas.
   Ringgold and M.r Nathaniel Hynson is offered against him A pole being
   desired on Each Side is granted and the pole for M.r Thomas Ringgold
   being Examined Charles Smith being on the Same pole took his Oath that
   he possessed in goods and Chattells forty pounds Sterl.g &ca. the pole for
   M.r Nathaniel Hynson being Examined there being Severall that desired
   to Sat Stay on the Same vizt James Meeks Darby Shehaun & Willm-
