   in Kent County afd at or upon ye tenth day of January next ensuing ye.
   date of ye Said Bill Yet ye afd Deft~ althõ often required ye afd five.
   hundred pounds of Tobacco unto ye Said Plt. hath not rendered or paid but
   ye Same to render or pay the Sd Deft~ hitherto hath denied & Yet- .
   denys to ye Damage of the Said Plt Eighty Shillings Sterling money
   and thereupon he brings Suite &ca. TBowne pr Quer Plegs &ca.
   John Doe & Richard Roe.     And the afd Plt by his attry afd
   and prays that the Said Deft~. to his Decln afd may answer and also
   that the Plt. may put in Surty to pay Cost to the afd Deft if in Case ye.
   Said Deft Should appeare to ye above accõn and prosecute ye Same~
   and that ye Plt Should be Cast~ wch. was granted   on wch. Mr Thomas
   Bowne comes into Court and Saith that he will Pay all Cost accrueing
   on ye accõn afd to the afd Deft if the Plt Should be Cast in ye Accõn afd
   And now the Said Deft~. being called Came And the afd Plt by
   his attry afd prays that the afd Deft may give Special bayle to the
   above accõn which was granted And that he be kept in Safe Custody
   by the Sherf of Said County untill he Shall give Special bayle to ye
   above accon~
   After which Nicholas Waterman of Said County here in Court~ .
   cometh and becometh Special bayle to the above accon for ye
   afd Deft and doth undertake the Payment of the Debt afd and Cost~
   thereon accrueing if it Should happen that the Said Plt Shall obtaine
   Judgment against the afd Deft~ in the Said Accõn of Debt and ye.
   Said Deft~. the Condemnation afd Shall not Satisfie nor himselfe
   to the Custody of the Sherf of Said County deliver or that the Said
   Nicholas the body of the Said John Shall not render &ca.
   And the Said John in his proper person appeared to the above .
   accõn and Saith that he cannot gainsay the accõn afd of his
