   John Jones as well the afd Sume of five pounds Current Silver money
   of Said Province the Debt afd as also the Sume of Three hundred
   and five pounds of Tobacco Costs by the afd Plt. about his Suite in—
   this behalfe Expended and by the Court here of his assent abjudged
   and the Said Deft~ in mercy &ca.

             at | Kent County the Sixteenth day of Augst.
   Peter Couard Deft~. | in the Second Year of the Reigne of his
   ————————— | now Majestie George &ca. That he take —
   Peter Couard of Kent County afd Planter als Dics Peter Couard of Kent~
   County Planter if he Should be found in his Baylwick and him Safe .
   keep So that he have his body before his Said Majesties Justices of our
   next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester -
   in Said County to Answer unto John Mading of Kent County Planter of .
   a plea that he render to him the full & just Sume of five hundred —
   pounds of good Sound Marchantable leafe Tobacco Clear of ground leaves
   and of trash in Cask of ye value of forty one Shillings and eight pence
   Sterling money of great Brittaine which he unjustly detains &ca.
   And that he have then and there the Said writ &ca.    At which Sd
   next Court vizt. the Same Year last mentioned the day of returne ,
   of Said writ Came William Frisby Gent~ high Sherf of Said County~
   and made return thereof in these words thereon endorsed as folls.
   vizt Cepi Corpus pr Wm Frisby Sher.
   But a Declaration being fild when Said writ Issued forth &
   a Copy thereof Served therewth. according to act of Assembly in Such
   case made was as folls vizt Kent County Ss Peter Couard of Kent County
   afd Planter ali Dics Peter Couard of Kent County Planter was .
   Summoned to Answer unto John Mading of Kent County Planter
