   planter otherwise called Jno Jones of Kent County in ye Province of Maryland
   planter if he Should be found in his Baylwick & him Safe keep So
   that he have his body befor his Said Majesties Justices of the
   next Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in~
   Said County to Answer unto Edward Williams of a plea yt he render
   unto him ye full and just Sum of five pounds Current Silver money of
   Said Province w.ch to him he owes and unjustly detains &ca. And that
   he have then and there the Said writ &ca. Att which Said next Cou[rt]
   viz this fifteenth day of November the Same Year last mentioned
   the day of return of Said writ Came William Frisby Gent high Sherff .
   of Said County and made returne thereof in these words thereon endorsed
   as folls vizt. Cepi Corpus pr Wm Ffrisby Sherf
    But a Declaration being fild when Said writ Issued forth a Copy thereof
   Served therewith according to act of Assembly in Such Case made was
   as folls vizt Kent County Ss. John Jones of Kent Co.ty planter otherwise called
   Jno. Jones of Kent County in ye. Province of Maryland planter was Summon’d
   to Answer unto Edward Williams of a plea y.t~ he render unto him ye full
   and just Sum of five pounds Current Silver money of Said Province —
   w.ch to him he owes and unjustly detain’s &ca.   And whereupon the
   Same Edward by James Earle his attry Says that whereas ye afd John Jones
   ye Second day of March Anno Domi one Thousand Seven hundred &
   fourteen at Chester Town in Kent County afd and within ye Jurisdiciõn of
   this Court by his certain bill obligatory with the Seale of him the Said —
   John Sealed acknowledged himselfe to owe and Stand indebted to ye afd
   Edward in ye afd Sum of five pounds Current Silver money afd to be
   paid to ye Same Edward at or upon the tenth day of October next~.
   Ensueing ye afd Second day of March Anno Domi one Thousand Seven
   hundred and fourteen And for the performance thereof ye afd John~
   Jones did bind himselfe his heirs Executors and Administrators
   firmly by ye Same bill Nevertheless the afd John Jones altho
