                                    Novembr Court 1715
   Edward Hamelton Plt | Commanded it was to the Sherf of
                at | Kent County the Sixteenth day of Augst.
   John King Deft~ . . . | in the Second year of the Reigne of.


his now Majestie George &ca. that he
   take John King late of Kent County Planter if he Should be found.
   in his Baylwick and him Safe keep So that he have his body .
   before his Majesties Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court~.
   house in the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer unto Edward
   Hambleton of a plea of Trespass on ye. Case And that he have then
   and there the Said writ &ca. Att which Said next Court vizt. this —
   fifteenth day of November the year afd the day of return of Said
   writ Came William Frisby Gent high Sherf of Said County and made
   return thereof in these words thereon endorsed as folls vizt Cepi Corpus.
   pr Wm.. Frisby Sherf. And now at this Court the Same day last~
   mentioned Came the afd Plt. by John Johnson his attry and prays he
   may Put in Surtys for ye Plt. if in case that he Deft Shold appeare to.
   the above Accon and the Plt. Should be Cast in the accon afd w.ch was
   granted.   On which the afd Mr. John Johnson Came into Court and .
   acknowledged himselfe as Surty for the afd Plt that if he Should be
   Cast in ye Accon afd that then he would pay the Cost accrueing to the
   Deft afd . .
   And now the afd Plt. by his afd Attry prays that the afd Deft may
   be Called and the afd Deft. being called came and ye Sd Plt by his attry
   afd Prays that he may give Special bayle to the Accõn afd which was
   granted and that he be kept in Safe Custody by the Sherf of Said
   County untill he Shall give Special bayle to ye accõn afd.
   After which Col Nathaniel Hynson and John Williams both of -
   this County Comes into Court and acknowledges themselves Joyntly
   and Severally Special bayle for the afd Deft and that they or
   either of them the payment of the Damages and Cost accrueing
