                                    Novembr Court~ 1715                                114  
   both of this County and acknowledges themselves Joyntly and Severally
   Speciall bayle for the afd Deft~ and they or either of them doth .
   undertake the payment of the debt afd and Cost thereon accureing if
   in case the afd Plt Should obtaine Judgment against the Said Deft~.
   in the Said Accõn of Debt and the Said Deft~. the Condemnation
   afd Shall not Satisfie nor himselfe to the Custody of the Sherf of
   Said County deliver or that the afd Peter Allaby or Charles ——
   Greendige the body of the Said John Jones Shall not render &ca-
   And now the Said Deft in his proper person Came into Court and
   appeared to the above accõn And Saith that he Cannot gainsay
   the accõn afd of him the Said Plt~ nor but that the writeing —
   obligatory afd above mentioned is his act and Deed and —
   that he oweth unto the afd Plt~. the afd Sume of five hundred
   pounds of Tobacco and is willing that Judgment Should be -
   entrd for the Same and Cost thereon accrueing: Therefore it.
   is Considered by the Court here vizt this fifteenth day of Novembr
   Annoque Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and fifteen
   That the afd Plt Thomas Terry Recover against the afd.
   Deft~. John Jones as well the SUme of five hundred pounds
   of Tobacco the Debt afd as also the Sume of Three hundred —
   and Twelve pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plt~ about his
   Suite in this behalfe layd out and Expended and by the Court
   here of his assent adjudged and the Said Deft~. in——
   mercy &ca ———
