                               November Court in 1715 —
   year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred & Twelve at the
   Parish of St. Pauls in the County afd & within the Jurisdiciõn of
   this Court by his certain bill or writeing obligatory acknowledgd
   himselfe to be holden unto ye. Said Plt~ in the afd Sume of five
   hundred pounds of Tobacco to be paid to ye Said Plt~ when he
   Should be thereunto required Nevertheless ye afd Deft~ altho —
   often required the Said five hundred pounds of Tobacco to the
   Said Plt~ hath not rendered but to render to him hath hithereto
   gainsayed & Still doth Gainsay wherefore he Saith yt. he is -
   worse and hath damage to ye value of one Thousand pounds -
   of Tobacco And thereupon he brings Suite &ca. And he brings
   hereinto Court ye writeing afd yt. the debt afd in form afd may
   be witnessed whose date is ye day and Year afd &ca. Johnson pr Plt
   Pledges &ca. John Doe Richard Roe . And the afd Plt~. prays -
   that the afd Deft~. may to his Decln afd in form afd Answer
   The afd Plt~. by his attry Prays that he may be taken for Securty
   in behalfe of ye Plt. if in Case the afd Deft Should appeare and
   prosecute ye Accõn afd and ye Plt be Cast in ye Plea afd this Court
   rules that the Said John Johnson be entrd Securty as prayd John
   Johnson afd Comes into Court and Saith that he will Pay all Cost
   in ye accõn afd to the Said Deft if the Plt. Should be Cast in~
   the Same
    And the Said Plt~. by his attry afd Prays that the Said Deft~.
   may give Special bayle to the afd Accon which is granted. and
   that he be kept in Safe Custody by the Sherf of Said County untill he
   Shall give Special bayle to the accõn afd.
   After which Comes into Court Peter Allaby and Charles Greendige
