   Thomas Terry Plt~ | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County
                at | the Sixteenth day of August in the Second
   John Jones Deft - | year of the Reigne of his now Majestie —


George &ca. That he take John Jones of Kent
   County in the Province of Maryld Planter als Dics Jno Jones of Kent
   County in ye Province of Maryland Planter if he Should be found
   in his Baylwick and him Safe keepe So that he have his body before
   ye Justices of our next County Court to be held at our Court house
   in the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer unto Thomas
   Terry of a plea yt he Render unto him the full & just Sume of five
   hundred pounds of good Sound Merchantable leafe Tobo in Casque
   w.ch he unjustly detaines &ca. And that he have then and there y.e
   Said writ &ca — .    .    .    Att which Said next Court viz.t this fif-
  :teenth day of Novemb.r ye Same Year last mentioned the day of
   return of Said writ Came William Frisby Gent~ high Sherf of .
   Said County and made returne thereof in these words thereon
   endorsed as folls viz.t Cepi Corpus p Wm Ffrisby Sherf-
   But a Declaration being fild when Said writ Issued forth and
   a Copy thereof Served therew.th according to Act~ of Assembly in Such~
   case made was as folls vizt Maryland Kent County Ss. John Jones of
   Kent County in the Province of Maryld Planter als Dics Jno Jones of
   Kent County in ye Province of Maryland Planter was Summoned to .
   answer unto Thomas Terry of a plea yt. he render unto him the full
   & just Sume of five hundred pounds of good Sound Merchantable leafe
   Tobo. in Casque wch. he unjustly detaines &ca. And Whereupon the
   Said Plt~ by John Johnson his attorney Saith that whereas—
   the Said Deft~ the Twenty Seaventh day of December in the—
