And now at this Court viz this fifteenth day of Novembr. Anno Dom one Thousand Seven hundred and fifteen Came the Said James. Smith Evangelists of Almighty God and Saith that his accot~. agst the afd~ Daniel Maggs is Just and true and that the Said Daniel Maggs was Indebted to him on Ballance the SUme of one pounds fourteen Shillings and three pence halfe penny Currant money of the afd - province and that the Tobacco on the Bill of Cost Amounting to the Sume of three hundred Sixty and Six pds of Tobacco he hath not recd And now the Said Plt by Thomas Bowne his attry Saith that the Law is Complyd w.th in Such case where persons absents themselves . and that the Short note Expressing the true cause of Accõn was left~ at the last~ place of the Deft~. above And Prays that Judgment~. for Attachment may be granted. Therefore it is Considered by this Court here viz the Same day last~ mentioned That for the afd Sume of Thirty four Shillings and three pence halfe penny Currant money of this Province and Three hundred Sixty and Six pounds of - Tobacco as also the Sume of Two hundred and Sixty pounds of Tobacco |
