   Jacob Glen Plt | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County the
                at | twenty Seventh day of June in the Second Year of the
   John Edwards Deft~ | Reigne of his now Majestie George &ca. that he take
   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | John Edwards of Kent County Planter if he Should be
   found in his Baylwick & him Safe keep so that he have his body before
   his Said Majesties Justices of the next Court to be held at our Court house in
   the Town of Chester in Said County to Answer unto Jacob Glen Chyrurgeon
   of a plea of Trespass on the Case &ca. and that he have then and there
   the Said writ &ca.    .    .      Att which Said next Court viz.t this Sixteen[th]
   day of August in the Second Year of his Said Majesties Reigne &ca. The day
   of Return of Said writ Came William Frisby Gentln high Sherf of Said County
   and made return thereof in these words thereon endorsed as folls vizt.
   Cepi Corpus pr Wm Ffrisby Sherf. and the Said Deft being called Came and
   the Said Plt. Came likewise and took his Corporall Oath on the Holy —
   Evangilists of Almighty God and saith that the Said John Edwards is in
   his debt the Sume of Eight hundred pounds of Tobacco and without he Can
   be Secured in the Same he thinks that he is in danger of Looseing the Same
   on which the Said Plt. by James Earle his attry prays that the afd Deft~ —
   may give Special Bayle to the afd accon which is granted And that
   William Frisby Sherf of Said County keep the Said John Edwards in Safe
   Custody untill he shall give Special Bayle to the afd Accon~ &ca ~~~
   After which Thomas Bowne one of the attrys of this Court appeard to .
   y.e above accõn &ca ——— for the afd Deft~.
   John Chandler Plt~ | Commanded it was to the Sherf of Kent County .
                at | the Twenty Seventh day of June in the first year
   Peter Green Deft.~ | of the Reigne of his now Majestie George &ca. that
   ————————— | he take Peter Green of Kent County Planter if he


Should be found in his Baylwick and him Safe —
   keep Soe that he have his body before her Said Majesties Justices of the next .
   Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County .
   to Answer unto John Chandler of a plea of Trespass upon the Case and
