       Given under my hand and the seal of the
       County Court of the county aforesaid this
       Twenty Ninth day of August Eighteen
       Hundred and seven

       The State of Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

                I hereby certify that the bearer hereof a Negro
       Man by the name of George of a dark complexion
       about thirty three years of age five feet three inches
       high having a scar on his left thumb nail and
       one on the inside of his left wrist who was raised
       in Prince Georges County is a Freeman and became     
       entitled to his freedom in virtue of a Deed of
       Manumission from Robert Waters of the county
       aforesaid dated the twenty seventh day of February
       one thousand seven Hundred and Ninety Eight
       and duly executed acknowledged and recorded
       in the hand records of the county aforesaid

                Given under my hand and the seal of my
                office this twenty sixth day of January
                one thousand eight Hundred and Eight
