       Twelfth day of August in the year Eighteen
       Hundred and twelve

       Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

            I hereby certify that the bearer hereof a
       woman by the name of Milley about twenty
       six years old five feet five inches high a dark
       complexion having three scars on her right arm
       who was raised in Prince Georges County by
       Abraham Clarke is free and became entitled
       to her freedom by Deed from Spencer
       Mitchell bearing date the first day of June
       Eighteen Hundred and Eleven duly executed
       and recorded in one of the Land records of
       the county aforesaid

                Given under my hand and seal of office
                this thirteenth day of August Eighteen
                Hundred and twelve
