       State of Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

             I hereby certify that Negro Rochester the
       bearer hereof aged about nineteen years five
       feet one inch high of a dark complexion with
       a scar on his left cheek about an inch long
       who was raised in Prince Georges County in
       the family of Basil Waring Deceased is a
       freeman and obtained his freedom in virtue
       of a Deed of Manumission from Sarah Waring
       bearing date the first day of June Eighteen
       Hundred and eleven duly acknowledged &
       recorded in one of the Land records of
       Prince Georges County aforesaid

                   Given under my hand and seal of office
                   this second day of April in the year 1812

       Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

                I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Heney
       Allen a mulatto woman about thirty Eight
       years old four feet eleven inches high having lost
       several of her upper fore teeth and has rather a
       flat nose and thick lips who was raised in
       Prince Georges County in the family of Danice
       Charke near Queen Anne is a free woman and
       was born free being the Daughter of Mima
       Allen a free mulatto woman
