       Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

                I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Hannah
       Allen a dark mulatto woman about seventeen
       years of age five feet and three quarters of an
       inch high having a flat nose and thick lips
       broad face a scar on the inside of the left arm
       and a good set of teeth who was born in Prince
       Georges County in the family of Daniel Clarke
       near Queen Anne is a freeman and was born
       free being the Daughter of Henny Allen a free
       mulatto woman who was also born free

                Given under my hand and seal of office
                this fourth day of April in the year
