       Carr is a free girl and was born free in the County
       aforesaid being the reputed Daughter of Ann Carr

                      I hereby Certify that the bearer hereof John
       who calls himself John Fenore Kidwall a bright
       mulatto man about twenty six years
       old five feet four & a quarter Inches high
       has several scars on his faice ^one ^on^ his chin^ occasioned
       by fall from a horse and three ^two^ small scars
       on his forehead occasioned by the small
       pocks that the said John Feadoe Kedwell is
       a free man being the reputed son of
       Vicey Kidwall a free woman of Colour
