       Deed of Manumission before mentioned from
       John H. Beanes

             Given under my hand and seal of office
             this sixteenth day of December in the
             year of our lord one thousand eight hundred
             and Eleven

       Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

                I hereby certify that Barney a negro man
       about five feet six inches high appearing to
       be about thirty five years old of a dark complexion
       with a blemish in the right eye who was
       raised in the family of James Williams of Saint
       Marys County was liberated and set free by
       Richard marshall on the fourteenth day of
       September Eighteen Hundred and Eleven by
       Deed of Manumission duly executed and
       recorded in my office

                Given under my hand and the seal of my
                office this Twenty Eighth day of December
                in the year one thousand eight Hundred and
                eleven
