          Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t

                      I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
       negro Caroline who calls herself Caroline Harrison
       ^a black woman^ about twenty five inches high years of age four feet
       Eleven inches high has a scar on her left hand
       and a Scar on her forehead  That the said
       Caroline is a free woman and was born free
       in the County aforesaid cert granted Oct.o 24.th 1827
