          Maryland Prince Georges County Sc.t

                      I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
       negro Ruth who calls herself Ruth Johnson
       a black woman about forty two years old
       five feet high has a small scar on her upper
       lip and a small scar on her right wrist  That
       the said negro Ruth is a free woman of the County
       aforesaid                     Cert granted Oct.o 22.d 1832

       negro Arch who calls himself Arch Brown
       a bright mulatto man about twenty five
       years of age five feet seven inches high
       a scar on his left wrist and a small scar
       near his left eye  That the said negro
       Arch is a free man and set free in the County
       aforesaid by Lloyd M Lowe in virtue of a deed
       of manumission from said Lowe to said negro Arch
