                       I hereby certify that negro Sally otherwise
       called Sally Sawman the bearer hereof a black
       woman about twenty seven years of age five feet
       five inches high with a mole on the back of her
       neck and a scar on her left foot occasioned by a
       burn  That the said Sally is a free woman and
       became entitled to her freedom by virtue of a Deed of
       Manumission from Nathaniel Craufurd to said ^Negro^ Sally
       duly recorded in Liber J R M N.o 9 folio 26 one of the
       Land Record Books of said County
