       Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t

                   I hereby certify that Mary Nicholls the bearer
       hereof a bright mulatto girl about seventeen years
       of age five feet four inches high with a scar on
       her left rist that the said Mary Nicholls is a free
       Girl and was born free in the County aforesaid being
       the reputed Daughter of Grace Nicholls a free
       woman of Coulour
