                I hereby certify that the bearer hereof a mulatto
       man who calls himself William Beckett about Twenty
       One years of age six feet high with a scar on the
       inner part of the right thumb a scar on left arm a
       little below the armpit and a scar below the Elbow of
       the same arm  that the said William Beckett is
       a free man and was Set free by George labut of
       the County aforesaid by Manumission duly acknowledged
       and recorded in my office this day

       Elbow also a small scar in the inner part of the wrist of the same
       arm & a scar on the upper part of the left hand That the said
       Henny Lowe is a free woman and was born free in the County aforesaid
       being the daughter of Charles Lowe
