25 five and an half inches high about forty ^four^ years old blind in the right eye and having a smaller scar over the left eye who was raised in Prince Georges County by Humphrey Belt is a freeman and became entitled to his freedom by virtue of a Deed of Manumission from Humphrey Belt & bearing equal date herewith duly executed and acknowledged & recorded in my office Given under my hand and the seal of the county court of the county aforesaid this 12.th day of March 1811 John Read Magruder J.r Clk P G Cy C.t Maryland Prince Georges County to wit I hereby certify that the bearer hereof a man by the name of Thomas Graham of a yellowish complexion about thirty eight years old five feet six inches and an half high with full eyes and thick lips having a scar on the right cheek and no toes on his right foot except the great toe and who was raised in the county aforesaid in the family of a certain Ignatius Perry is a freeman being descended from a freewoman by the name of Eleanor Graham Given under my hand and seal of office this sixth day of May in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred & eleven John Read Magruder J.r Clk P G Cy C.t |
