        Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t

                I hereby Certify that negro Thomas
       the bearer hereof who calls himself Thomas Thomas
       a black man about twenty one years of age five
       feet Eight and a half Inches high has a scar on the
       fore finger of his right hand occasioned by it being
       marked when young  That the said negro Thomas
       is a free man and became Entitled to his freedom
       by virtue of a Deed of Manumission from Hezekiah
       Wheeler duly recorded in one of the Land Records
       of said County
                                  In Testimony &c   A Beall Clk
       Identified by W.m Piles         April 7.th 1827

                I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
       negro Sally who calls herself Sally Brown a
       mulatto Girl about thirteen years of age five
