246 occasioned by a burn That the said negro Girl Sally is a free Girl and became Entitled to his freedom in virtue of Deed of Manumission from Doctor Clement Smith bearing date the second day of April Eighteen hundred and twenty seven and duly recorded in one of the Land Records of Prince Georges County In Testimony &c Identified by W.m Hill Cert.a Granted 14.th April 1827 A Beall Clk Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Martha who calls herself Martha Queen a bright mulatto Girl about Eighteen years of age five feet three and three quarter Inches high has a Small scar on the four finger of her right hand occasioned by a burn That the said Martha is a free girl and became Entitled to her freedom by virtue a Deed of Manumission from Doctor Clement Smith duly recorded in Liber J R M N.o 13 one of the Land Records of said County Cert D.d Ap.l 21.st 1827 Identified by In testimony &c W.m Hill A Beall Clk |
