        Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t

                I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Ann Butler
       a black Girl about seventeen years of age five
       feet three and one half Inches high with a small
       cut or scar on the upper lip & has lost a part of
       the first Joint of the left thumb that the said
       Ann Butler is a free girl and was born free in
       the County aforesaid being the daughter of
       Fanny Butler a free woman of Colour
                            In Testimony &.c      Nov 3.d 1834

       said Kitty Lancaster is a free woman and became entitled to
       her freedom in virtue of a Deed of manumission from
       Benjamin Wilson to said Kitty duly recorded in one of
       the Land Records of said County            Certificate granted Dec.r 1.st
