        Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t

                I hereby certify that Vina otherwise called
       Vina Thomas the bearer hereof a dark mulatto woman
       about twenty two years of age five feet two and a quarter inches
       high has two scars on her right arm one occasioned by a burn and
       the other by a cut  That the said Vina is a free woman
       and became intitled to her freedom in virtue of a Deed of
       Manumission from John Buckan to Sundry negroes duly recorded
       in Liber J R M N.o 10 folio 510 one of the Land Records of said
       County               In Testimony &c         Certif.te Granted October 3.d 1826

       Betsey Thomas the bearer hereof a Dark Mulatto woman
       about nineteen years of age five feet seven and a half inches high
       has a scar on her forehead and a scar on each rist one occasioned by
       a burn & the other by a cut that the said Betsey Thomas is a free
       woman and was born free in the County aforesaid being the reputed
       Daughter of negro Lucy a free woman of Colour
