                I hereby certify that negro Sarah otherwise called Sarah
       Semmes the bearer hereof a woman of Dark Complexion ^about twenty four years of age^ five feet three
       and a half inches high has a small scar on her left cheek just below
       her eye and one or two scars on her left hand  That the said Sarah
       Semmes is a free woman and became entitled to her freedom in virtue  
       of a Deed of Manumission from John Buckan to sundry negroes
       duly recorded in Liber J R M N.o 10 page 510 one of the Land  
           Records of said County                     Certif.te granted Oct.o 3.d

       by virtue of a Deed of Manumission from John Buckan to
       Sundry negroes duly Recorded in Liber J R M N.o 10 folio 510 one
       of the Land Records of said County       Certif.te granted Oct.o 3.d
