                I hereby certify that negro Maria the bearer hereof
       a woman of dark complexion about twenty years of age five feet
       two and a half inches high  That the said Maria is a free woman
       and became entitled to her freedom by virtue of a Deed of
       Manumission from Hezekiah Wheeler bearing date the
       twenty second day of June Eighteen hundred and Eight
       and duly recorded among the Land Records of Prince
       Georges County

                            I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro William
       who calls himself William Saboy a bright mulatto man about
       twenty five years of age five feet ten and three quarter inches high
       with a scars on both legs and several scars on his right hand bearly perceptible
       That the said William Savoy is a free man and was born
       free in the County aforesaid being the son of Katherine Savoy a
       free woman of Colour
