       Allen about thirty nine years old five
       feet nine inches high marked in his face with
       the small pox with a small scar on his right
       thigh just above the Knee one on the right
       wrist bone and one on the inside bone of the
       left ancle who was raised by Rich.d Higgins
       of Anne Arundel County is a freeman and
       was born free as appears by the records of
       the county court of the county aforesaid

                Given under my hand and seal of office
                this Eleventh day of September in the
                year Eighteen Hundred and ten

       State of Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

             I hereby certify that the bearer hereof Negro
       Will a black man about thirty nine years old
       five feet high having a small scar on his
       right hand a little above the upper joint of the
       Thumb who was raised by Shadrack Turner late
       of the county aforesaid Deceased is a freeman and
       became entitled to his freedom by virtue of a Deed
       of Manumission from Sarah Turner Samuel Turner
       and John Turner dated the fifth day of November
       Seventeen Hundred and Ninety Nine and
       duly acknowledged and recorded in the records
       of the county court of the county aforesaid
