       Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t

                      I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
       Negro Melkah ^a dark Mulatto woman^ aged about forty three years
       five feet high has a small scar on her left
       Thumb that the said negro is free and entitled
       to her her freedom by a Deed of Manumission
       from Jacob Riddle senior duly recorded in Liber
       A B N.o 1 page 511 one of the Land Records of
       Prince Georges County

                      In Testimony &c

       Indentif.d                         Certificate granted 14.th Jany 1826
       by Deed Manumission      Aquila Beall clk of P G Coty

                   I hereby certify that Negro Charles who calls
       himself Charles Tilghman the bearer hereof a bright mulatto
       Boy about Eighteen years of age five feet five Inches high
       has a small scar rather on the left side of the forehead  That
       the said Charles is a free Boy & appears by Manumission
       from Henry Lowe Hall only acknowledged and recorded
