191 opposite the knee no other perceptible marks ^Scars^ that the said Thomas Hanson is a free man and was born free in the County aforesaid In Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the public (Seal) seal of Prince Georges County Court this first (P G Co.ty) day of August Eighteen hundred and twenty three Aquila Beall Clk of P G C.y C.t Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Gregory who calls himself Gregory Gray the dark mulatto man about thirty years of age five feet eight and a quarter Inches high who has lost the first and second Joint of the fore finger of the right hand has a Scar on the Joint of the great toe of the right foot occasioned by a cut & also a small scar under the left Jaw Bone of the left side ^occasioned by a Burn^ that the said Gregory Gray is a free man and was born free in the County aforesaid In Testimony whereof I have hereto subscribed (seal) my name and affixed the Seal of Prince Georges County Court this first day of august 1822 Identified by Aquila Beall Clk aff.d f.d P G C.y C.t |
