       Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t

                I hereby certify that the bearer hereof negro Betsey
       otherwise called Betsey Williams the bearer hereof a very dark
       mulatto woman about twenty four years of age five feet one
       and three quarter inches high has a small scar on the forehead
       above the right Eye and a small scar on the second Joint
       of the left thumb that the said Betsey Williams is a free
       woman and was born free in the county aforesaid being
       the daughter of a negro woman named Kate who was formerly
       liberated by John Williams of said county
