6-103. BUREAU OF REVENUE ESTIMATES.

(A)  ESTABLISHED.

THERE IS A BUREAU OF REVENUE ESTIMATES IN THE OFFICE OF THE
COMPTROLLER.

(B)  CHIEF.

(1)  THE HEAD OF THE BUREAU IS THE CHIEF, WHO SHALL BE
APPOINTED BY THE COMPTROLLER.

(2)  SUBJECT TO THE SUPERVISION OF THE COMPTROLLER,
THE CHIEF HAS ADMINISTRATIVE CONTROL OF THE BUREAU.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first sentence and
the phrase "appointed by the Comptroller" in the
second sentence of former Art. 41, § 194(a).

In subsection (a) of this section, the language "in
the Office of the Comptroller" is added to reflect
practice.

Subsection (b)(2) of this section is revised to
conform to other provisions that relate to control of
units.
