(B) HEARINGS AND FORUMS.

WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE PLANNING AND
WHENEVER IT BELIEVES IT NECESSARY OR USEFUL FOR ITS ADVISORY
FUNCTIONS, THE COMMISSION MAY HOLD PUBLIC OR PRIVATE HEARINGS AND
SPONSOR PUBLIC FORUMS IN ANY PART OF THE STATE.

In subsection (a)(4) of this section, the former word
"metropolitan" is deleted as included in "regional".

5-901. DEFINITIONS.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

IN THIS SUBTITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS
INDICATED.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language used as the
standard introductory language to a definition
section.

(B)  COMMISSION.

"COMMISSION" MEANS THE PATUXENT RIVER COMMISSION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added to
avoid repetition of the full title "Patuxent River
Commission".

(C)  PLAN.

"PLAN" MEANS THE POLICY PLAN FOR THE PATUXENT RIVER
WATERSHED ADOPTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added to
avoid repetition of the phrase "Policy Plan for the
Patuxent River Watershed".
