THE PLAN SHALL EMBODY THE POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE
DEPARTMENT REGARDING THE ECONOMIC AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE
STATE.

5-605. REVIEW AND FILING OF PLAN BY GOVERNOR.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

ON COMPLETION, THE SECRETARY SHALL SEND TO THE GOVERNOR THE
PLAN, ANY SUBSTANTIAL PART OF THE PLAN, OR ANY REVISION TO THE
PLAN.

(B)  FILING BY GOVERNOR.                                       

THE GOVERNOR MAY FILE WITH THE SECRETARY OF STATE THE PLAN,
PART OF THE PLAN, OR REVISION TO THE PLAN, TOGETHER WITH ANY
COMMENTS MADE BY THE GOVERNOR, AND, IN THAT EVENT:

(1)  THE DEPARTMENT SHALL MAKE COPIES OF THE MATERIAL
FILED AVAILABLE FOR GENERAL DISTRIBUTION OR SALE; AND

(2)  THE GOVERNOR SHALL SEND COPIES OF THE MATERIAL
FILED:

(I)  TO THE HEAD OF EACH UNIT OF THE STATE
GOVERNMENT; AND

(II)  SUBJECT TO § 2-1312 OF THE STATE
GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 88C, § 5.

In subsection (a) of this section, the word "revision"
is substituted for the former words "amendment,
revision, or addition", for brevity.

In subsection (b)(2)(i) of this section, the phrase
"head of every unit of the State government" is
substituted for the former phrase "heads of all
departments and agencies of State government".
