Former Art. 41, § 231D, which abolished the Department of
Public Improvements and transferred all related authority and
property to the Department of General Services and the Secretary
of General Services as of August 1, 1970, and former Art. 41, §
231E, which abolished the bureau of control surveys and maps and
the advisory board of the bureau of control surveys and maps and
transferred all responsibilities to the Secretary of General
Services or any agency designated by the Governor as of the same
date, are deleted as obsolete, because the transfers and other
events contemplated by the former sections have already occurred.
