Laws of Montgomery County 1985

AN ACT that establishes Share-A-Ride Districts, Share-A-Ride
Outreach Areas, and a Share-A-Ride Program; defines
"ridesharing"; creates a Ridesharing Fund Account; provides for
reductions in the minimum parking requirements of office
developments; provides for the conditions for a reduction;
provides for penalties; authorizes the County Executive to adopt
regulations; and generally relates to ridesharing.

Effective Date October 11, 1984.

AN ACT to:

(1)  make animal owners liable for restitution for
damages caused by their animals authorize the Animal Matters
Hearing Board to order payment of damages up to $250 if the Board
finds an animal to be a public nuisance;

(2)  provide an administrative forum for deciding
restitution claims for damages;

(3)  clarify the process for informal hearings before
the Animal Matters Hearing Board;

(4)  enforce orders of the Animal Matters Hearing
Board through issuance of citations and civil fines;

(5)  clarify the County's authority to impound vicious
or dangerous animals when there is probable cause to believe that
the animal has attacked someone; and

(6)  make stylistic changes.
