AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Section 2-112, title "Powers,
duties and functions" of Article V, title "County Board of
Appeals", of Chapter 2 title "Administration" and to amend
Section 2A-9, title "Emergency Hearings" of Chapter 2A, title
"Administrative Procedures Act" of the Montgomery County Code,
1972, as amended, to authorize the Board of Appeals to hear
appeals under Chapter 41A, title "Rent Supplement and Assistance
Program", to waive the filing fee for appeals under the Rent
Supplement and Assistance Programs and to grant emergency
hearings to all Rent Supplement and Assistance Program
appellants.

Effective Date October 28, 1983.

"Application for Rent Supplement" of Chapter 41A, title "Rent
Supplement and Assistance Program" of the Montgomery County Code,
1972, as amended, to provide for a right to appeal to the Board
of Appeals.

Effective Date October 28, 1983.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 47, title "Solicitors, Hawkers, and
Peddlers" of the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, by
amending Section 47-19 for the purpose of changing the hours
during which commercial solicitation is permitted, Section 47-21
for the purpose of requiring persons hawking or peddling services
to obtain a license, and to add a new Section 47-25A for the
purpose of specifying the hours during which commercial hawking
and peddling are permitted.

Effective Date February 13, 1984.
