AN ACT to amend Section 33-7, title "County Executive and
Merit System Protection Board Responsibilities" of Article II,
title "Merit System" of Chapter 33, title "Personnel" of the
Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, for the purpose of
providing for the establishment of certain personnel regulations.

Effective Date November 8, 1983.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 52, title "Taxation", of
the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, by adding a new
Section 52-18D, title "Tax Credit for Great Hope Homes Limited",
of Article I, title "In General", to provide for a single tax
credit for County real property taxes for real property owned by
Great Hope Homes Limited for the 1983 taxable year and to provide
for certain procedures and time limits in which the tax credit
may be given as set forth in State law.

Effective Date September 22, 1983.

AN ACT to amend Section 2-75, "Appointments" of Article IV
title "Legislative Branch" of the Montgomery County Code 1972, as
amended, for the purpose of increasing the time for considering
confirmation of Executive appointments.

Effective Date December 28, 1983.
