disclosure of interests", of Article V, entitled "County Board of
Appeals" of the Montgomery County Code 1972, as amended, for the
purpose of changing the term of Board members and eliminating
certain duplicative, inconsistent and costly disclosure
provisions; in particular, to revise the requirement for a
transcribed personal interview with Board applicants relating to
possible or potential conflict of interests by substituting a
requirement for submission of a sworn, confidential financial
disclosure statement; to delete disclosure requirements for Board
members as duplicative and inconsistent with the disclosure
provisions of Section 11B-61(b)(9); and to make other technical
amendments.

Effective Date October 14, 1983.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 33, title "Personnel" of the
Montgomery County Code, 1972, as amended, by adding a new Section
33-19, title "Day Care as Alternative Fringe Benefit", for the
purpose . of making day care available as an optional benefit for
County employees.

Effective Date October 18, 1983.

AN EMERGENCY Act to amend subsections (d) and (e) of Section
33-45, title "Vested Benefits and Withdrawal of Contributions" of
Chapter 33, title "Personnel" of the Montgomery County Code 1972,
as amended, for the purpose of imposing a deadline on persons who
wish to transfer from the optional to the integrated retirement
plan and retain certain benefits.

Effective Date August 4, 1983.
