RESOLUTION NO. 8

CHARTER AMENDMENT NO. 44

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of Rockville adopted
pursuant to Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland, Section
13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, and the
Charter of the City of Rockville, as amended, to renumber Section
6 of Article III of the Charter of the City of Rockville as
Section 7, the same being contained in Section 72-13 of the
Montgomery County Code, 1972 (1977 Replacement Volume), and to
add a new Section 6 to Article III of the Charter of the City of
Rockville, so as to provide for recall elections and the recall
of the Mayor or a Councilmember.

[Section 6 of the Charter of. the City of Rockville,
Montgomery County, renumbered, and a new Section 6, as found in
the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition),
added.

Effective Date April 30, 1985]

RESOLUTION to enlarge the corporate boundaries of the City
of Rockville to include 5.25611 acres of land, more or less,
Mayor and Council of Rockville.
