CHARTER RESOLUTION AMENDMENT NO. 1984-3
SUBJECT: "Powers and Duties of Mayor."
Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 edition as amended, to amend
the Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland, the amendment to
be entitled: "Powers and Duties of Mayor" by repealing and
reenacting with amendment a certain section of the Charter of the
Town of Ocean City, Maryland. This amendment shall have the
effect of providing that a Police Commission, consisting of three
Council members and the Mayor shall supervise the Police
Department rather than the entire Mayor and City Council as
provided in the existing Charter.

Worcester County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 001-84
COMMISSIONERS OF POOLESVILLE
A RESOLUTION of The Commissioners of Poolesville adopted pursuant
to the authority of Article 11E of the Constitution of
Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the 1957 Annotated
Code of Maryland (1981 Replacement Volume and 1983 Cum.
Supp.), title, "Corporations - Municipal", subtitle "Home
Rule", to amend Section 82-3, title "Commissioners
Election; qualifications; compensation; fees;" of Part I of
the Poolesville Code, being a part of the municipal charter
of The Commissioners of Poolesville, to repeal the
provisions contained therein authorizing the President and
each of the remaining four Commissioners of Poolesville to
receive annual compensation of One Thousand Five Hundred
Dollars ($1,500.00) and One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00)
respectively, commencing January 1, 1985, and to substitute
in lieu thereof a provision authorizing the Commissioners to
