CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2-1984

WHEREAS, the City of Mount Rainier is desirous of changing
its elections procedures, and redrawing its ward boundaries to
simplify procedures, encourage citizen participation, facilitate
voter registration, and to allow for a more equitable
distribution of population among its election districts;

53-15, 53-16, 53-17, 53-18, and 53-19 of the Charter of the City
of Mount Rainier, Prince George's County, as found in the

repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1957 EDITION), TITLE, "CORPORATIONS
MUNICIPAL," TO AMEND CHAPTER 26 SECTION 51 OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC
