MORE THAN $100, OR IMPRISONED FOR NOT MORE THAN 10 DAYS, OR BOTH.

IF ANY PART OR PARTS OF THIS SUBTITLE ARE HELD
UNCONSTITUTIONAL OR INVALID, THAT UNCONSTITUTIONALITY OR

SUBTITLE 1. CIRCUIT COURT.

17-101. BAR LIBRARY.

ALL BOOKS BELONGING TO THE LIBRARY OF THE CIRCUIT COURT FOR
CALVERT COUNTY SHALL BE KEPT SECURELY IN A SUITABLE ROOM PROVIDED
FOR THE PURPOSE, UNDER THE DIRECTIONS OF THE JUDGES OF THE COURT.
THESE BOOKS MAY NOT BE TAKEN OUT OF THE ROOM, EXCEPT BY DIRECTION
OF THE JUDGES OF THE COURT, WHEN REQUIRED FOR THEIR USE OR FOR
THE USE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BAR.

17-102. EMPLOYEES SERVING THE CIRCUIT COURT.

SALARIES OF EMPLOYEES SERVING THE CIRCUIT COURT AS
AUTHORIZED BY SECTION 2-501 OF THE COURTS AND JUDICIAL
PROCEEDINGS ARTICLE SHALL BE RECOMMENDED BY THE JUDGE OF THE
CIRCUIT COURT AND SET BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AFTER
CONSIDERING INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF
THE COURTS FOR THE 7TH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT ON THE COMPENSATION OF
COMPARABLE EMPLOYEES IN OTHER COUNTIES. THESE EMPLOYEES SHALL BE
PAID BY THE COUNTY FROM THE ANNUAL LEVY AND SHALL RECEIVE THE
SAME BENEFITS AS COUNTY EMPLOYEES.

17-201. RECORDATION; ORIGINALS DESTROYED.

ALL DEEDS, WILLS, MORTGAGES, PAPERS OR OTHER INSTRUMENTS OF
WRITING WHICH HAVE BEEN RE-RECORDED, WHETHER FROM THE ORIGINAL OR
FROM CERTIFIED COPIES, EITHER IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK OF THE
CIRCUIT COURT FOR CALVERT COUNTY OR IN THE OFFICE OF THE REGISTER
OF WILLS OF THE COUNTY, SINCE MARCH 3, 1882, OR WHICH MAY LATER
BE RE-RECORDED IN THOSE OFFICES, THE ORIGINAL RECORDS OF WHICH
WERE DESTROYED BY FIRE, SHALL HAVE THE SAME FORCE AND EFFECT IN
