(A) THE ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY BOARD CONSISTS OF 8 MEMBERS WHO
SHALL BE APPOINTED AS FOLLOWS:

(1)  3 FROM THE COUNTY AT LARGE;

(2)  1 EACH FROM LEGISLATIVE DISTRICTS 31, 32, AND 33;

(3)  1 FROM LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT 29A (ANNE ARUNDEL
COUNTY ELECTION DISTRICT 7; PRECINCTS 1 AND 2) OR DISTRICT 30;
AND

(4)  1 STUDENT MEMBER.

[(a) The Anne Arundel County Board shall have an additional
voting member who] (B) THE STUDENT MEMBER shall:

(1) [be] BE a regularly enrolled senior year student
of good character and in good standing in an Anne Arundel County
public high school[.];

[(b) The student member shall:]

[(1)] (2) Be selected in his junior year by a method
selected by the Chesapeake Regional Association of Student
Councils of Anne Arundel County; and

[(2)] (3) Serve for 1 year.

(C)  A BOARD MEMBER WHO DOES NOT MAINTAIN THE RESIDENCY
QUALIFICATION SHALL BE REPLACED AS A MEMBER.

(D)  IF THE BOUNDARY LINE OF A LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT CHANGES,
AN INCUMBENT MEMBER OF THE COUNTY BOARD WHO, BECAUSE OF THE
CHANGE, NO LONGER RESIDES IN THE LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT FROM WHICH
THE MEMBER WAS APPOINTED MAY COMPLETE THE TERM.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That at the
conclusion of the present terms expiring in 1985, 1986, 1987,
1988, and 1989, the Governor shall appoint members of the Anne
Arundel County Board in the following manner:

(a) In 1985 1 new member shall represent Legislative
District 30 or Legislative District 29A (Anne Arundel Election
District 7; Precincts 1 and 2) and 1 new member shall represent
Legislative District 31;

(b) In 1986 the new member shall represent Legislative
District 33;

(c) In 1987 1 new member shall represent Legislative
District 32 and 1 new member shall represent the County at large;

(d) In 1988 the new member shall represent the County at
large; and
