(c) A person may fish for finfish in the Chesapeake Bay or
its tidal tributaries without a Chesapeake Bay sport fishing
license if the person:

(6)  Holds a valid Chesapeake Bay sport fishing
license issued by the State of Virginia, provided that this
exemption shall not take effect until the Secretary has published
notice in the Maryland Register of the secretary's determination
that the Virginia requirements for a Chesapeake Bay sport fishing
license are substantially similar to the requirements of this
section; [or]

(7)  Is fishing pursuant to any special license issued
under subsection (d) of this section; OR

(8) (I) IS ON ACTIVE DUTY WITH THE ARMED FORCES OF
THE UNITED STATES;

(II) IS A RESIDENT OF THIS STATE;

(III) IS ON LEAVE FROM THE ARMED FORCES; AND

(IV) HAS, WHILE FISHING, A COPY OF THE PERSON'S
OFFICIAL LEAVE ORDERS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.

Vehicle Laws - Special Plates for Interchangeable

Registration - Auctioneers

FOR the purpose of altering the definition of "licensed dealer"
to include a licensed auctioneer among those persons who may

drive certain vehicles under a special plate for

interchangeable registration; providing for certain fees;

and generally relating to a special plate for

interchangeable registration for licensed auctioneers.
