2986 LAWS OF MARYLAND Ch. 637
FOR the purpose of altering the definition of "transporter" under
the vehicle laws to include a licensed auctioneer, acting on
behalf of certain vehicle sellers, among those persons who
may drive certain vehicles under a special plate for
transporters; and relating generally to a special plate for
transporters of certain vehicles for certain licensed
auctioneers.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Transportation
13-620.
(a) A special registration plate issued under this part:
(1) May be used on and for the operation of any
vehicle expressly authorized to be driven under that class of
registration plate, without registering the specific vehicle with
the Administration; and
(2) Is interchangeable among these vehicles.
(b) A vehicle may not be driven under a special
registration plate issued under this part unless the plate is
displayed on the vehicle in the manner required by § 13-411 of
this title.
