the law and that there is no intent to revive or otherwise affect
law that is the subject of other Acts, whether those Acts were
signed by the Governor prior to or after the signing of this
Act.

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the provisions
of Section 1 of this Act shall take effect on July 1, 1985.

SECTION 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the provisions
of Sections 2, 3, and 4 of this Act shall take effect on July 1,
1985, contingent on Senate Bill 185 not being enacted, and if

Chapter _______ of the Acts of 1985 (S.B. 185) does become

effective, the provisions of Sections 2, 3, and 4 of this Act are
null and void without the necessity of further action by the
General Assembly.

FOR the purpose of altering the penalties for the offense of
molesting, defacing, injuring or otherwise maliciously
destroying property when the value of the property is under
a certain amount.
