[(1)] (I) A specific record of 6 years experience in
property line surveying of a character satisfactory to the Board
indicating that the applicant may be competent to practice
property line surveying, if he presents evidence of such
experience satisfactory to the Board. However, each complete
year of study, not to exceed 4 years, in a public or private
college, including an approved community college, may be accepted
in lieu of 1 year of experience if the applicant's course of
study included the principles and methods of surveying and the
applicant submits evidence of acceptable experience; and
[(2)] (II) Successful completion of a written or oral
examination in the fundamentals of property line surveying and
the principles and practice of property line surveying.
(2) (I) ON OR AFTER JULY 1, 1988 1990, THE BOARD MAY
NOT REGISTER ANY NEW APPLICANTS AS PROPERTY LINE SURVEYORS.
(II) PROPERTY LINE SURVEYORS WHO ARE REGISTERED
BEFORE JULY 1, 1988 1990 MAY RENEW THEIR REGISTRATION UNDER
SECTION 336 OF THIS SUBTITLE.

(b) (1) [The] BEFORE JULY 1, 1988 1990, THE registration
fee for a property line surveyor is $35, of which $15 shall
accompany the application, and $20 shall be paid on issuance of
the certificate.
(2) ON OR AFTER JULY 1, 1988 1990, THE BOARD MAY NOT
REGISTER ANY NEW APPLICANTS AS PROPERTY LINE SURVEYORS.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1985.
